A squared

By Anonymous

She strides, tides part at her feet

With every step the sea foam rushes back in greeting

I’d launch a fleet of a thousand ships

Sails that scream my willing defeat

to plead for her to see me

Her lips start

Her eyelids shutter

Contrast stark

Lashes fluttering

What a sight

She is gliding storks taking flight in a blinding flurry

She is snowflakes hurrying like a bright blizzard coming

She is lighting striking the sinners in kind fury

I love the way she lives

I wish I could live like her, my darling
